The city of Dundee is home to DC Thomson, the company behind such comics as The Beano, The Dandy, Commando, The Bunty, The Hotspur and many, many more. This exhibition celebrates the work of some of the geniuses who brought the characters to life and as the title of the exhibition suggests, many of them were Dundee boys born and bred, or adopted the city as their home town.

Featured are rarely seen pages of original artwork from the archives.

WestFest are delighted to announce that some of the artists will be running workshops where you can learn more about comic art. Come and meet them and see true genius at work.

A must for kids of all ages. No upper age limit!
